The rooms have very clean bathtubs, and the hotel is conveniently located in the city center with a nice restaurant nearby.

Recently refurbished hotel in a great and brilliant location near to city centre, thoroughly enjoyed this place. The room was relaxing and tidy with a very clean bathtub and the overall experience was great. The breakfast was hearty and nice and included.

The staff - some of them were not always friendly.

The location is good and the view is excellent in case you got a riverview room

This hotel is very tired. The breakfast room is actually in very poor condition and dirty and the staff try hard but unfortunately are not of an international standard. Whilst this is hotel may seem good value compared to other countries, this is not good value for Malaysia.

The location is perfect if your intention is just to travel in and around Kota Baru. The breakfast spread offers a lot of choices. The staff is friendly and of course the sunset is marvellous although the Kelantan river has become murky. All in all I would say that the Grand Riverview Hotel will always be my hotel of choice whenever I go to Kota Baru.

The staff here are polite, rooms are tidy with views of the river, and have the best bathrooms and a hearty breakfast provided.

The front office staffs were friendly and arranged room early for us. Apart from it, breakfast was delicious. The bed & pillow was soft and good to sleep

Insufficient parking, towels are very old and dirty, room furnitures are old

I like the clean room,pillow, and comfort King size bed. The bathroom so nice but a little bit small but oklah..Talk about food you must try omelet at Rivera cafe so nice.I like a Free covered parking

Have a swimming pool but did`t have a life guard and also towel counter at swimming pool. So if you want to use the swimming pool, you should bring your towel by your own.

The rooms here are super chill and so spacious. the staff are amazing, especially the bell boys - they really know how to make you feel taken care of! 🌟

It has a beautiful view of the river and a magnificent sunset. I liked its location best as it was near many places of interest and food outlets. The hotel has a useful map which was a big bonus to refer to for our activities. We were not keen on poolside activities and hence it did not matter that the pool was small. It was a very comfortable stay. It was a breeze checking in and out and the hotel gave me a room of my choice and everything was in good working order. Another plus point was the politeness of the dining staff. Good value and I would definitely come here again when in town. Enjoyed my time in Kota Bahru.

I did notice that the water from the bathroom was not all that clean as after a soak in the bath tub, there was a lot of sediment after the water had drained.

the room was relaxing with a sunken mattress. the bed was exceptionally comfortable. 3. Really enjoyed the restaurant where we had breakfast. 4. the location was marvelous. Istana Jahar was approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the venue.

Too much umidity in the room if air conditioning was over 15/18 degrees
